All classes are 50 minutes long, usually with a Zamboni cut in between sessions. Classes are small group and focus on individualized attention. Classes are challenging and fast paced but are designed to progress your child from Point A to Point B, whatever that may look like. Our coaches are following ADM Standards and aim to provide the best training in Middle Tennessee.
Our Memberships are based upon the number of times per week your hockey player will be attending classes. You can register for skating 1x a week, 2x a week or 3x a week. Prices are different for each package.
Currently, our Membership Classes are based upon both age and skill, however we are moving toward Skill Based Classes.
We have an entry-level class called Fundamentals. This class is designed for new-to-hockey House level players, usually Termite, Mite and Squirt level. Our Mite (Rookie) Class is COACH PLACEMENT ONLY. You must be evaluated and placed in the Mite Class.
There will be instances where players are moved up or down in classes depending on coach recommendation and what is best for the player. We are developing skill and fundamentals in class. Skating will always be our Number 1 priority; if you can't skate properly, you can't play the game properly. No matter what age group, we focus a lot of efforts on skating.
We offer four different types of Membership packages at the Lab. Membership classes are small, high tempo and for all ages and skill levels. We offer classes at the Beginner, Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam and Midget level. Classes are SKILL BASED (Fundamentals, Rookie, Advanced Rookie, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite).
